Licensee passed an endoscope through the horse’s upper airway and detected a narrowed airway. Horse developed a respiratory compromise due to the narrowed airway and was not able to be resuscitated. Post examination findings revealed an abscess causing pressure on horse’s trachea.

Failure to properly supervise non-licensed employees led to the tourniquet being left on for too long of a period and led to unnecessary pain and suffering and the unnecessary amputation of the cat’s paw.
